I read somewhere that I could update thumbshots through my robots.txt file. If someone with some knowledge of robots could post what I should add in it would be greatly appreciated, since I have no clue on what to add.
Thanks!
Chuck
Hi Chuck, to update the Thumbshots, you don't need to use the Robots.txt. For more information on this, please read this post

Justin,
First off, I want to update automatically on a weekly or biweekly basis. I dont want to have to go through the steps to do it. That was the main reason that I asked the question.
Second, if the robots.txt file can do it for me automatically, why would I want to pay to do it? If you dont have the answer to my original question, fine. Maybe someone else of the forum does? If not, the web is a big world and I;ll find the answer somewhere.
The Robots.txt only specify if Thumbshot should or should not be allowed to take a screenshot. It doesn't indicate when it should update. The update time is govered by internal logic based on popularity of site, etc.
