Hello,
OK, I will try this a second time.
When I am trying to get a Thumbshot of a sub page within a site, the image is defaulting to the home page. Here is an example of this link that I am using: http://images.thumbshots.com/image.aspx?cid=*private*&v=1&w=300&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.catalink.com%2Fphase-eight-enewsletter%2Fp%2F003918%2F. Is this something that I am doing? I can't give you a link to the page that we are using thumbshots on as it is part of a private company website.
Also, there appears to be a problem with your forum not sumitting questions properly. This is the second time that I have had to type this out (hit's CTRL + C).
Hi Seb,
I don't know you're pulling the Thumbshots without seeing your integration code. The system will generate the Thumbshots image for the exact page if it has it the database. If not, by default, it will return the closest matching image (usually the root URL). Depending on how you're pulling the Thumbshots image, it may or may not trigger it to go fetch the exact page URL. You can also force an update using the express form for non-paying customers or if you have a premium plan from the My Account > Thumbshots Images > Update Thumbshots page.
Thanks,
