Open Thumbshots™ Project Adds Dynamic Integration

Open Thumbshots™ Project (www.thumbshots.org), is an open initiative offering free Thumbshots to all users of the Open Directory Project, DMOZ (www.dmoz.org).

Starting November 2003, Open Thumbshots will enable free dynamic integration allowing users to pull individual thumbshots directly from Open Thumbshots and mirror sites. Users are no longer required to download the XML dump to display thumbshots, but are encouraged to do so as it allows greater flexibility. The team at Open Thumbshots will work closely with ODP staff to enhance the ODP directory and increase the productivity of ODP editors. Our commitment to What You See Is What You Get will ensure the ODP directory remains the best and most accurate open directory on the Internet.
